Clinical trials
Trials must be registered in a public trial registry (ClinicalTrials.gov) before participant enrollment, where applicable. Include the registration number.
Systematic reviews
Protocol registration (PROSPERO) is strongly recommended. Provide registration ID if available.
Case reports/case series
Written patient consent is mandatory for publication (including images). State this explicitly in the manuscript.
Animal research (if applicable)
Must comply with institutional/national standards and include ethics approval. Use recognized reporting guidance (ARRIVE where relevant).
Conflicts of interest
All authors must declare financial and non-financial conflicts. If none: “The authors declare no conflicts of interest.”
Funding
State all funding sources and grant numbers, or: “This study received no external funding.”
Data availability
Provide a statement describing availability of data/materials/code, or justified restrictions (privacy).
Plagiarism and duplicate publication
SJCCGM screens submissions for plagiarism and redundant publication. Submissions must be original.
Authorship
Authorship should follow ICMJE criteria. All authors must approve the final manuscript.
Use of AI tools
If AI tools were used (language editing), disclose how they were used. AI tools cannot be listed as authors.
